Meet Me
My name is Onu Meshach Onu (Jnr), a Nigerian writer, web designer, book critic and editor whose work explores the intersections of identity, memory and emotional depth. I studied History and International Relations at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and the Elements of Web Design at the Learn and Work European Vocational Schools. My storytelling blends introspection with cultural nuance, capturing the quiet tensions of the human experience.
When I'm not writing, my favorite thing to do is reading. I love historical fiction, in-depth religious books, and classics. My favorite writers include James Hadley Chase, Chinua Achebe, Amma Darko and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie; and my favorite books include: Things Fall Apart and Arrow of God by Chinua Achebe, Half of a Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Tomorrow Died Yesterday by Chimeka Garricks, The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaleed Hosseini, the list goes on because I love good literature.
I also love TV shows, movies and music with in-depth storytelling, as that helps build my own writing. My favorite screenwriter is none other than the creative genius, Vince Gilligan; and Eminem's my go-to in music.
